A healthy diet will reduce your risk of developing heart disease as well as reducing the chance of you developing diabetes and some cancers.

Eating healthily will also help your weight, blood pressure and cholesterol and thereby reduce the risk of fatty deposits building up in your arteries. It is recommended that you eat five portions of fruit or vegetable a day. Try and cut down on saturated fats such as in butter and cheeses and limit red meet intake.
